Convegno Internazionale

Taking place on 28 November 2018, the international conference “Cultural Heritage for All” will be divided into three thematic plenary sessions:
  • tangible heritage: monuments, fashion, works of art, books, historical cities, archaeological sites, artistic crafts etc.
  • intangible heritage: representations, expressions, performances, traditions, knowledge, skills etc.
  • natural heritage: landscapes, natural areas, flora, fauna etc.
Each session will feature a keynote speech and a series of carefully-chosen best practices, culminating in a dialogue between sets of cultural, political and economic personalities, so as to highlight the potential for cross-fertilisation between economic sectors and different cultural areas, placing human diversity and the challenges of inclusion at the core.
Il convegno internazionale dal titolo “Cultural Heritage for All”, che si svolgerà nella giornata del 28 novembre, sarà articolato su tre sessioni tematiche:
  • patrimonio tangibile: monumenti, moda, opere d’arte, libri, città storiche, siti archeologici;artigianato artistico, ecc.
  • patrimonio intangibile: rappresentazioni, espressioni, spettacoli, tradizioni, conoscenze, competenze, ecc.
  • patrimonio naturale: paesaggi, aree naturali, flora, fauna, ecc.
Ogni sessione prevede un Keynote speech, alcune Best practices, e si conclude con un confronto dialogico tra due personalità del mondo culturale, politico o imprenditoriale, per individuare possibili contaminazioni tra settori economici ed ambiti culturali diversi, ponendo al centro la diversità umana e le sfide dell’inclusione.

Exhibitions

Throughout the event, participants will also be have the opportunity to visit exhibitions installed in the conference venue to illustrate initiatives that combine cultural heritage and design for inclusion.
Durante l’intero evento saranno allestiti brevi percorsi espositivi relativi ad iniziative che coniugano patrimonio culturale e Design for inclusion.

 

Workshops

On 29 November, workshops and application experiences will develop on the topics discussed during the conference, showcasing examples of transmitting and testing DfA tools and methods (learning by doing) and the development of specific skills and abilities relative to the multiple dimensions of cultural heritage.
Il 29 Novembre si svolgeranno laboratori ed esperienze applicative sulle tematiche trattate nel convegno, per la trasmissione e la sperimentazione di strumenti e metodi DfA (learn by doing) e lo sviluppo di competenze e abilità specifiche riconducibili alle molteplici dimensioni del patrimonio culturale.
